Guide
Upload once, copy Markdown or a direct URL, and paste into Discord channels and DMs.
Overview
Discord supports Markdown image syntax in messages: paste an imgtree link or use with the direct file URL from your upload.
Guest uploads work with no account — upload a screenshot or photo, copy the Markdown snippet from the image page, and paste into any channel or DM.
Upload
Drop a file on the imgtree home page or use the Chrome extension to capture and upload in one step.
Open the image page after upload to copy Markdown, direct URL, HTML, or BBCode.
Markdown
On the image page, copy the Markdown line — it looks like . Paste it into a Discord message and send.
Discord renders the image inline in most clients. For a text link instead of an inline image, paste the direct URL alone.
Servers
Some Discord servers restrict external links or large embeds. Check channel rules before posting hotlinked images.
imgtree is for screenshots, diagrams, and photos you have the right to share — not copyrighted or illegal material.
Also works on
The same upload includes BBCode for forums and embed codes for websites. See the other guides if you cross-post outside Discord.
Uploads are back to normal. Sorry for the brief outage.
